In The Gym: Stevenson Prepares for UFC Lightweight Debut

Hoping to avoid disappointing losses in his first two UFC bouts, Joe Stevenson (Pictures) prepared for his lightweight contest versus veteran Yves Edwards (Pictures) by putting time in the oxygen-deprived altitude of Big Bear, California.

Training in the same mountain gyms as Tito Ortiz (Pictures), Quinton Jackson (Pictures) and Jason Miller, Stevenson says he's ready to face Edwards, a man who was long considered the uncrowned king of the UFC ... though that is sure to change soon and Stevenson believes a win will put him right in that mix.
