Love him or hate him, Tim Sylvia (Pictures) is UFC heavyweight champion. And while the 6' 8" Pat Miletich (Pictures)-trained fighter has failed to earn the sort of favored status enjoyed by other UFC champs, he intends on holding the title for a long time to come.

Sherdog Insider visited Sylvia in Bettendorf, Iowa where he prepared for Saturday's UFC title defense in Sacramento, Calif. against world champion grappler Jeff Monson (Pictures).

Sherdog.com's Greg Savage sat down with Sylvia, Miletich and MFS boxing coach Matt Pena to give you an "In The Gym" look into the Maine-iac and his game plan for Monson.
