Carlos Condit (Pictures) was a huge underdog entering Friday's Rumble on the Rock 175-lb. tournament, but it took only seventeen seconds to dispatch of the heavily favored "Charuto" Renato Verissimo (Pictures).

Friday's win catapulted the young Albuquerque native into the second round of the tournament along with Frank Trigg (Pictures), Yushin Okami (Pictures) and Jake Shields (Pictures).

Condit spoke candidly with Sherdog.com's Josh Gross about the fight and how he matches up with possible opponents in April's tournament finale.
