Over the weekend Sherdog.com's Jeff Sherwood presented Maurico Rua with one half of the Web site's 2005 Fighter of the Year award.

Shogun shared the honor this year with Japanese lightweight Takanori Gomi (Pictures).

In an exclusive two-part video interview with Sherdog.com, Shogun talks about his accomplishments in 2005, where he plans to go in 2006 and how his life has changed since winning the PRIDE Middleweight Grand Prix.
