"The Axe Murderer" on the Grand Prix, UFC and Drug Tests

Just hours before it was announced that PRIDE and the UFC had agreed to a November showdown between Wanderlei Silva (Pictures) and Chuck Liddell (Pictures), the PRIDE champion spoke for half an hour exclusively with Sherdog Insider.

Though Saturday's pending announcement was not discussed, Silva talked about the potential of facing Liddell, fighting under North American unified rules and being subjected to performance-enhancing drug tests.

Silva, who was interviewed by Sherdog.com editor Josh Gross, offers his thoughts (sometimes in English) on the remaining fighters in the Open-Weight tournament, reflects on the Kazuyuki Fujita (Pictures) encounter and expounds on why he's so ferocious in competition.
