Former WEC bantamweight champion Miguel Torres says his title loss to Brian Bowles was a blessing in disguise.
The August 2009 defeat prompted Torres to study his own flaws -- not just his opponents’ -- and it refocused him ahead of his matchup Saturday at WEC 47 against Joseph Benavidez.
