HONOLULU, March 30 — Competitors fighting on ICON Sport's March 31 event weighed-in Friday at the new Icon Sport Martial Arts and Fitness Center.
Saturday's middleweight title fight was made official when both champion Frank Trigg (Pictures) and challenger and former 185-pound title holder Robbie Lawler (Pictures) made weight.
While squaring off for the cameras, Trigg planted his infamous pre-fight kiss on the unsuspecting Lawler who showed his displeasure with a short elbow shove before ICON promoter T. Jay Thompson could step between the two.
All fighters on the card made weight and were cleared to fight Saturday at Oahu's Neal S. Blaisdell Arena.
