Former World Series of Fighting light heavyweight and middleweight champion David Branch had a triumphant return to the Octagon after being away for six years.
Branch was the better overall striker against Krzysztof Jotko and controlled the action for much of their three-round middleweight affair. Unfortunately the battle wasn’t overflowing with action as the crowd booed the slow pace, but the fight was competitive. In the end, Branch did just enough to sway two of the judges and won via split decision on scores of 29-28 (twice) and 28-29.
