Cage Warriors 78 Weigh-in Results: All Four Title Fighters Make Weight

U.K.-based promotion Cage Warriors will host another solid night of action on Saturday and a double dose of championship bouts will be on tap. Cage Warriors 78 will go down inside Echo Arena in Liverpool, England, and the event will be streamed live on UFC Fight Pass at 4 p.m. ET/1 p.m. PT.

In the main event, Chris Fishgold will put his lightweight title on the line against Jason Ponet while Paddy Pimblett and Johnny Frachey will collide for the vacant Cage Warriors featherweight belt. At Friday’s weigh-ins, all four of the featured combatants made weight and the rest of the lineup followed suit.

Ponet was the first of the two main event fighters to hit the scale and he came in at 153.8 pounds. Champ Fishgold was slightly heavier but still on par with the divisional limit; he checked in at 154.7 pounds. Pimblett and Frachey both weighed in officially at 144.5 pounds.
