Cage Warriors Adds Final Matchup for CW 106 'Night of Champions'

By Natalie Zamudio May 21, 2019
Cage Warriors Fighting Championship has completed the lineup for its "Night of Champions" event scheduled to take place on June 29 at the Eventim Apollo in London, England. Six title fights will be on the line, now including Sam Creasey and Cage Warriors newcomer Samir "Silverback" Faiddine in a flyweight bout.

With Creasey, this is take-two for a Cage Warriors championship after losing his first shot at gold to Nathan Greyson at CW 92. Since that loss, "The Hobbit" has won two straight, putting his record at 11-2.

For his part, Faiddine enters the Cage Warriors arena with gold of his own, having just won a title with another promotion. The 26-year-old Frenchman matches his opponent with 11 wins but own 3 more losses for a record of 11-5.

This flyweight matchup is a long time coming. Creasey and Faiddine were initially set to fight three years ago at CW 80.

CW 106 has big shoes to fill as the last iteration of their "Night of Champions" event featured the likes of Michael Bisping, Dan Hardy and Antonio Silva.
