(PRESS RELEASE) -- Glory, the world’s premier stand-up combat league, today announced a partnership with XUMO, the premier LIVE and video-on-demand (VOD) over-the-top (OTT) service for the digital age.
The newly developed GLORY channel (#729) is now the exclusive home for kickboxing on XUMO, also representing the platform’s first combat sports partner.
Built and designed with discovery in mind, XUMO currently offers 140 free channels featuring live and on-demand entertainment. The diverse digital network is available in 20 million U.S. households via smart TVs, mobile apps, and set top boxes, including native integration with LG Electronics, Panasonic, and Hisense and Sharp smart TVs.
“We are excited to partner with XUMO as part of a continued effort to expand our digital footprint and bring the most exciting combat sport to new audiences,” said Nadim Tannous, Vice President of Digital, GLORY. “From the carefully curated channel lineup and cutting-edge integrations with brand partners like LG [Electronics], it’s clear that our vision for what entertainment can be aligns perfectly with theirs.”
“The GLORY channel addition represents XUMO’s commitment to provide viewers with more choice and the opportunity to consume more on-demand sports,” said Stefan Van Engen, Senior Vice President, Content Programming and Acquisitions at XUMO. “We’re thrilled to feature GLORY in an OTT environment and believe the collaboration will reach both combat sports enthusiasts and new audiences.”
