The second edition of the World Jiu-Jitsu Expo has plenty to offer the combat sports fan.

Taking place at the Long Beach Convention Center in Long Beach, Calif., on Nov. 9-10, the event will feature a number of icons from mixed martial arts’ past and present. Those scheduled to attend include: Royce, Rickson and Renzo Gracie, Lyoto Machida, Frankie Edgar and Carlos Condit, among others. The trio of Gracies and respected referee “Big” John McCarthy will also be holding autograph sessions.

Additionally, a number of Brazilian jiu-jitsu luminaries will be offering free seminars, including Roger Gracie, Ricardo Almeida, Andre Galvao and Robert Drysdale, to name a few. Also, contributor Marcelo Alonso and Susumu Nagao will be in attendance to launch their book, “From Vale Tudo to MMA: 100 Years of Fight,” for the first time on American soil.

Of course, the Expo would not be complete without a number of jiu-jitsu and submission rules superfights featuring the some of the world’s foremost grapplers, including Kron Gracie vs. Rodolfo Viera, Roberto Abreu vs. Dean Lister and Bruno Malfacine vs. Jeff Glover. The event will feature at least eight matchups overall. For more information on the World Jiu-Jitsu Expo, click here.
