The ordering process for Ultimate Fighting Championship pay-per-views has changed: UFC 243 is only available on ESPN+ in the U.S.

On Oct. 5, 2012, the Octagon was in Minneapolis for UFC on FX 5. The card brought 7,049 fans to the arena and received an estimated viewership of 1.1 million.

The main event saw Antonio Silva TKO Travis Browne in the first round. This would mark “Bigfoot’s” first win inside the Octagon.

UFC on FX 5 also saw Jake Ellenberger beat Jay Hieron and John Dodson TKO Jussier Formiga. Other standout performances were given by Michael Johnson, who knocked out Danny Castillo, and Mike Pierce, who knocked out Aaron Simpson. Advertisement
