Spike TV’s “UFC Prelims Live” special for UFC 130 earned 1.3 million viewers with its one-hour live broadcast Saturday, according to numbers released Wednesday to Sherdog.com by Spike officials.

The viewership total represents a decrease from UFC 129’s prelims broadcast, which earned 1.5 million viewers.

The UFC 130 prelims also earned a household rating of 0.9 and a 1.03 in both the Male 18-34 and 18-49 advertising demographics. According to Spike TV, the telecast also ranked No. 1 in its time slot among males 18-49.

As is typical, the special immediately preceded the UFC 130 pay-per-view, which was headlined by a one-sided light heavyweight affair which saw Quinton “Rampage” Jackson outpoint Matt Hamill.

The Spike TV broadcast featured two bouts, as Demetrious Johnson walked away with a contentious unanimous decision over former WEC champion Miguel Torres, while veteran Tim Boetsch made a successful middleweight debut by dominating Kendall Grove en route to another unanimous nod.
