UFC Brasilia Highlight Video: Watch Roy Nelson KO Antonio Silva, Kick Referee John McCarthy

Longtime veteran Roy Nelson kicked referee John McCarthy (video below) in the butt in an apparent protest that the third man ended his brawl with Antonio Silva too late.

Nelson had dropped “Bigfoot” with a powerful straight right to the jaw and then pounded on the fallen Brazilian, nearly knocking him out. But when Silva, clearly dazed and on the verge of being sent into complete unconsciousness, McCarthy stepped in. Nelson wasn’t pleased – possibly because he didn’t want to hurt Silva anymore after listening to his post-fight banter – and walked back over to the two and gently pushed McCarthy from behind with his right foot. The official time of the TKO came at 4:10 of the second.
