In fact, quite the opposite is true, as Hinds has been around the block as long as anybody and has officiated many a fight inside the Octagon, as well as for Bellator and countless other promotions.
The Illinois-based ref spends a lot of his time training officials on how to be the best. Hinds is also a cageside judge when he’s not reffing two combatants looking to rip each other apart. He is a member of the Association of Boxing Commissions and is among the foremost individuals involved in combat sports across the globe.
