Alexey Oleynik: ‘That's Why I Hold It For About 20 Seconds’

Heavyweight contender Alexey Oleynik made history on Sunday as he became the first man to pull off the elusive Ezekiel choke inside the famed Octagon. After opponent Viktor Pesta scored a takedown and eventually worked his way to side control, the Moscow native latched on the choke from off his back. Pesta tried to escape and scooted over to full mount, but that made the finish even easier for Oleinik, who forced the tap at the 2:57 of the opening round.
