Rae Yoon Ok now takes his turn being chased.

The surging South Korean will defend his One Championship lightweight crown against Evolve MMA standout Christian Lee when their rematch headlines One 160 on Aug. 26 at Singapore Indoor Stadium in Kallang, Singapore. Ok finds himself on a five-fight winning streak, having enjoyed a rise to the top that few could have foreseen. He last appeared at One “Revolution,” where he improved to a perfect 3-0 in the promotion and laid claim to the lightweight title with a five-round unanimous decision over Lee on Sept. 24.

As Ok prepares for his second encounter with Lee, a look at some of the numbers that have accompanied him to this point:

31: Years of age for Ok, who was born on Busan, South Korea, on March 23, 1991.

4: Ok wins by knockout or technical knockout, accounting for 25% of his career total (16). His list of victims: Eun Seok Park, Pu Zhang, Gele Teri and Youn Hyun Lee. Ok holds one other win by submission (6%)—he took care of Burenzorig Batmunkh with a rear-naked choke at a Double G Fighting Championship event in July 2020—and 11 more by decision (69%).

55: Seconds needed for Ok to cut down Park with a flying knee and follow-up punches at Angel’s Fighting 3 on April 29, 2017. Having occurred more than five years ago at the KBS Arena in Seoul, South Korea, it remains his fastest finish to date.
