Welcome back to the Sherdog Staff Pick 'Em, where this week we will try and make sense of the card they're calling "UFC Vegas 40."
It's a weird one: Lupita Godinez will be looking to set a UFC record by fighting just seven days after her win at Fight Night 194, while Aspen Ladd will appear in the main event just two weeks after a blown weight cut forced her out of her scheduled bout with Macy Chiasson. In the "thank heaven for small favors" department, at least both women will be fighting up a weight class from their usual divisions.
The rest of the card is full of fairly lopsided matchups, at least in the eyes of the Pick 'Em league, but there are no unanimous picks this week. Let's hear it for the underdogs!
