A welterweight pairing between Alan Jouban and Richard Walsh has been added to UFC 184 on Feb. 28. The bout was announced by Ultimate Fighting Championship on Thursday. The pay-per-view event, which takes place at Staples Center in Los Angeles, features two title fights, with Chris Weidman defending his 185-pound crown against Vitor Belfort and Ronda Rousey looking to remain unbeaten against Cat Zingano.

A former standout in Resurrection Fighting Alliance, Jouban has already tasted victory and defeat in his two outings in the Octagon. After finishing Seth Baczynski at UFC Fight Night “Bader vs. St. Preux” in his debut, “Brahma” dropped a unanimous decision to Warlley Alves at UFC Fight Night “Shogun vs. St. Preux.”

Walsh snapped a six-fight winning streak in his split decision loss to Kiichi Kunimoto at UFC Fight Night “Hunt vs. Nelson.” Walsh’s lone victory under the UFC banner came against Chris Indich at UFC Fight Night “Bisping vs. Kennedy.” Prior to his loss in September, “Filthy Rich” had only been beaten one other time, a 2009 submission loss to Robert Whittaker at Cage Fighting Championships 11.
