Bellator MMA will return to Italy with another mixed card featuring both mixed martial arts and kickboxing bouts on Oct. 12.
The California-based promotion announced the event, which will take place in Milano, on Wednesday. Sherdog.com confirmed with a Bellator official that Alessio Sakara will headline the MMA portion of the card against an as yet to be determined opponent. Meanwhile, the Bellator Kickboxing bill will feature Chingiz Allazov.

Sakara headlined the promotion’s last trip to Italy in December 2018. There, he suffered a first-round knockout loss to Kent Kauppinen at RDS Stadium in Genoa. The 37-year-old has appeared on five of the six cards Bellator has held in his home country, serving as the main event in three of those. “Legionarous” has posted a 3-2 mark in those bouts and is 20-13 as a professional overall.
No other bouts were announced for the event.
