Two-time light heavyweight title challenger Alexander Gustafsson will return to the Octagon against Jan Blachowicz at UFC Fight Night “Arlovski vs. Barnett,” promotion officials announced Friday.

Additionally, Brad Pickett will clash with Enrique Briones in a bantamweight bout at the event, which takes place on Sept. 3 at the Barclaycard Arena in Hamburg, Germany. The card is headlined by a heavyweight showdown pitting Andrei Arlovski against Josh Barnett.

Gustafsson will be searching for his first win since March 2014, when he stopped Jimi Manuwa in the second frame at UFC Fight Night 37 in London. Since then, “The Mauler” suffered a first-round TKO loss to Anthony Johnson at UFC on Fox 14 and dropped a hard-fought split decision to Daniel Cormier in a 205-pound title bout at UFC 192.

A longtime KSW veteran, Blachowicz is 2-2 thus far during his Octagon tenure. Most recently, the 33-year-old Pole took a unanimous decision victory over Igor Pokrajac at UFC Fight Night “Rothwell vs. Dos Santos” on April 10.
