Aljamain Sterling Tells Urijah Faber to ‘Stop the Bulls—t’ Regarding Title Shot Talk

Aljamain Sterling is not happy that Urijah Faber is already talking about a title shot after his win over Ricky Simon at UFC Sacramento this past weekend.

The top bantamweight contender believes he is next in line and says the UFC Hall of Famer needs a win over a top-10 opponent at the very least to be in the conversation. Faber called out bantamweight champ Henry Cejudo following his quick finish of Simon.

“I usually don’t do this but when I do, it’s to stop the bulls—t”, Sterling said on Facebook. “Back to business! Your title challenger is here! Faber, great finish, but you need to at least beat someone in the Top 10. I’ll handle CeDooDoo, aka Triple Chump from here!”

Sterling is coming off of a decision win over Pedro Munoz at UFC 238. That extended his winning streak to four, a run which also includes wins over Jimmie Rivera, Cody Stamann, and Brett Johns. Regardless of what direction the promotion decides to take, Cejudo is unlikely to be available until next year as he recovers from shoulder surgery.
