Anthony Dirrell, Avni Yildirim On Point for WBC Super Middleweight Championship

It's been nearly four years since Anthony Dirrell has held a world championship and he hopes to regain that prestige. Standing in his way is Avni Yildirim, who will take on Dirrell Saturday night in the main event of an FS1-televised card from inside the Minneapolis Armory in Minneapolis.

After Friday's official weigh-ins, the fight is a go as both combatants came in on target.

Dirrell (32-1-1, 24 KOs) hasn't been overly active recently, having fought just five times since losing his WBC super middleweight title in April 2015 to Badou Jack. In that span, however, "The Dog" has gone unbeaten, including wins over Caleb Truax and Marco Antonio Rubio. The Flint, Michigan, native aims to regain that same belt on Saturday and came in at 167.6 pounds.

Yildirim (21-1, 12 KOs) has won a handful of regional titles and, like his foe, has won his last five. The Turk's only loss was 18 months ago to Chris Eubank Jr., and "Mr. Robot" expects to be successful in his first-ever world title challenge. Yildirim tipped the scale at exactly 168 pounds, giving the fight the green light.

The action goes live on FS1 beginning at 10 p.m. ET (7 p.m. PT).
