Multiple outlets confirmed the pairing on Wednesday following an initial report from Brazilian outlet Combate. UFC 213 takes place at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas and features a bantamweight title tilt pitting Cody Garbrandt against T.J. Dillashaw.
Pettis dropped to featherweight for a two-bout stint last year. After submitting Charles Oliveira in the third round at UFC on Fox 21 in his 145-pound debut, “Showtime” suffered a third-round TKO defeat to Max Holloway in an interim featherweight title bout at UFC 206 this past December. A former UFC and WEC lightweight champion, Pettis moved to 145 pounds after losing successive bouts against Edson Barboza, Eddie Alvarez and Rafael dos Anjos.
Miller, meanwhile, had a three-fight winning streak snapped at UFC 208, when he lost a majority decision to Dustin Poirier. The New Jersey native had been coming off wins over Thiago Alves, Joe Lauzon and Takanori Gomi prior to that defeat.
