Disturbing audio has surfaced in the alleged domestic assault case involving Racheal Ostovich and her estranged husband, Arnold Berdon.

In a video obtained by Hawaii News Now, a witness recorded the alleged assault in the dark after overhearing Ostovich being attacked. In the video, which last about 10 minutes, Ostovich can be heard pleading for Berdon to stop as he allegedly hits her. Berdon also is heard threatening Ostovich’s life.

“I’m going to murder you,” Berdon allegedly says. “I’m going to f—-ing murder you.”

Berdon was initially arrested by Honolulu police for attempted murder. The charge was later downgraded to assault. Berdon pleaded not guilty to the charge. Berdon’s attorney, Myles Breiner, said assault is the appropriate charge.

“There are times when they over reach, and this is one of those. Arnold Berdon and his wife had a relationship. It was acrimonious, there’s no question about that,” Breiner told Hawaii News Now.

According to Breiner, Berdon is taking a domestic violence intervention course. Berdon and Ostovich are going through a divorce.

Ostovich suffered a fractured orbital during the incident, but she has been cleared to face Paige VanZant at UFC on ESPN+1 on Jan. 19.
