Back from Suspension, Marvin Vettori Promises A Better Version of Himself at UFC Sacramento
Marvin Vettori has not fought since April 2018, when he dropped a split-decision to Israel Adesanya at UFC on Fox 29.

“The suspension sucked, it happened and outside of fighting was hard because you are paying the consequences for something that I never did,” Vettori said to Sherdog.com. "You are just stuck in limbo.”
Now that he is set to return to the Octagon at UFC Sacramento
against Cezar
Ferreira, he knows he will be much better and can’t wait to
showcase his skills to the fans.
“This is a good opponent for me. He is well rounded and has been in there with some top guys, a lot of names,” he said. “You can say whatever about the guy but I am a way better fighter than him and I can show it. I’m not underestimating him but I plan on bringing the fight and showcasing all my skills.
“He does a little bit of everything. If he wants to wrestle, I am down to wrestle,” Vettori added. “If he wants to keep to standing, he is more than welcome. I have a strategy and just go out there and put it on him and wherever it goes, I think I have the advantage.”
Regardless of where the fight takes place, “The Italian Dream” is confident he has the advantage. Still, he is not underestimating Ferreira.
“I’m ready for a tough hard fight, just ready for anything that happens in there,” he concluded.
