ESPN.com first reported the fight. According to the report, both fighters have verbally agreed to the bout, and the pairing will be finalized soon. Dillashaw and Lineker will share the card with reigning 135-pound king Dominick Cruz, who defends his title against Cody Garbrandt in the co-main event.

UFC 207 takes place at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas and is headlined by a women’s bantamweight championship clash between Amanda Nunes and Ronda Rousey. The evening’s main card airs on pay-per-view.

Dillashaw, the former bantamweight king, lost his belt to Cruz via split decision at UFC Fight Night 91 in Boston on Jan. 17. The Elevation Fight Team representative returned to the win column in his next outing, as he earned a unanimous decision against Raphael Assuncao at UFC 200.

Lineker enters the bout on a six-fight winning streak, although scale issues have followed “Hands of Stone” from the flyweight division to bantamweight. Lineker came in 0.5 pounds heavy for his most recent clash with John Dodson at UFC Fight Night 96 on Oct. 1 but was able to defeat his opponent via split decision. The Brazilian missed weight multiple times during a previous stint at 125 pounds.
