“Listen about Belal Muhammad,” Strickland said. “F---ing where is he from, Miami, Detroit (Chicago)… Belal do me a favor, s--t the f--k up. Go get on a boat, go back to f---ing Palestine. Go pick up a rock and go f---ing do something. I’m so sick of you f---ing on the Twitter and just talking s--t. Every time I f---ing see you bro, you have your head down like a f---ing little girl… You wanna f---ing fight me and try to dry hump me?”
Sean Strickland reacts to Belal Muhammad saying he’d move up to 185 to fight him:

Meanwhile, Strickland gets a chance to reclaim the middleweight title against Dricus Du Plessis in the main event of UFC 312 on Saturday at the Qudos Bank Arena in Sydney, Australia. However, Muhammad believes other middleweight contenders have a more legitimate claim to the next gold bid. The welterweight champ praised Khamzat Chimaev’s recent win over Robert Whittaker and Muhammad Nassourdine’s triumph over Israel Adesanya while mocking Strickland’s last performance.
“Crazy that Chimaev finished Whittaker and Imavov finished Izzy, but the guy that teeped Costa 150 times is getting the title shot ..but we all know he’s good at crying and using his mouth. No diddy I just heard it from his dad,” Muhammad wrote.

Strickland lost his strap via decision against Du Plessis at UFC 297 in January 2024. He rebounded with a split-decision win over Paulo Costa and has since been insistent on fighting for the title, which ultimately worked out well for him. Meanwhile, Chimaev is most likely in line for the next title shot even as Imavov made a case with his win over “The Last Stylebender” at UFC Saudi Arabia.
Meanwhile, Muhammad is riding a 11-fight winning streak topped off by his title win over Leon Edwards via a dominant unanimous decision last year. The 36-year-old has since been teasing a move up to middleweight, citing a lack of fresh contenders at 170 pounds
