Four new bouts have been added to One Fighting Championship’s December offering, including a showdown between URCC 129-pound champion Kevin Belingon and undefeated Spaniard David Aranda Santacana.
Belingon, 26, saw a two-fight winning streak halted in his most recent outing, when he was outpointed this past May by former Shooto champion Masakatsu Ueda in the One FC bantamweight grand prix finals. Prior to that defeat, “The Silencer” scored consecutive knockouts to advance in the tournament, besting Yusup Saadulaev last year and then doing the same to Thanh Vu this past April at One FC 8.
Santacana has been perfect through nine pro outings, earning eight of his victories by way of submission. The 37-year-old last fought in October 2012, when he took a unanimous decision from Olivier Pastor under the Scotland-based On Top Promotions banner.
Fodor, 29, received his UFC release earlier this year on the heels of back-to-back defeats. “The Future” rebounded from the setbacks in his One FC debut, however, taking a unanimous decision from Seung Ho Yang at September’s One FC 10.
A South African muay Thai champion now based out of Hong Kong, Colossa has found mixed results in MMA thus far. Like Fodor, “The Cheetah” also halted a two-fight skid on Sept. 13, when he outpointed former lightweight champion Kotetsu Boku in a unanimous decision.
