A light heavyweight bout between Virgil Zwicker and Brian Rogers and a lightweight clash pitting Adam Piccolotti against Mario Soto will complete the Bellator 147 main card, promotion officials announced Friday.
Bellator 147 takes place at the San Jose State University Event Center in San Jose, Calif., on Dec. 4 and is headlined by a lightweight showdown between Josh Thomson and Pablo Villaseca. The five-bout main card airs on Spike TV beginning at 9 p.m. ET/8 p.m. CT.
Zwicker is 2-0 thus far in his 2015 campaign, as he captured a split verdict over Houston Alexander at Bellator 132 before knocking out Razak Al-Hassan in the opening stanza of their Bellator 137 encounter. Rogers, who previously competed at middleweight, has lost four of his last five in Bellator, including a majority decision defeat to Joey Beltran this past April.
The 27-year-old Piccolotti is 6-0 as a professional, with his last two triumphs coming under the Bellator banner. A Team Alpha Male product, Soto will make his promotional debut after more than a year layoff.
