A native of Northern Ireland, Gallagher currently trains alongside UFC featherweight champion Conor McGregor at SBG Ireland in Dublin. The owner of a 3-0 professional record, “The Strabanimal” scored a first-round submission against Gerard Gilmore in February and subsequently signed with Bellator in April. Gallagher was slated to fight once more in Ireland before departing for Bellator, but his June 4 meeting with Sean Tobin was nixed when BAMMA postponed the event over safety concerns.
Another BAMMA competitor, Cutting will enter his Bellator debut looking to launch his first winning streak since 2012. “Gip” has alternated wins and losses in his last eight outings, most recently dropping a unanimous decision against Declan Dalton in February.
