Bellator 166 Weigh-in Results: Eduardo Dantas, Joe Warren Ready for Title Tilt

The Winstar World Casino and Resort in Thackerville, Okla., will once again be the home to Bellator MMA as Friday night will kick-off a special two-day weekend for the California-based promotion. Eduardo Dantas will headline Bellator 166 (online betting) as he defends his bantamweight title against Joe Warren in a rematch two years in the making.

Dantas initially captured the 135-pound title by submitting Zach Makovsky at Bellator 65 in April of 2012. He defended the belt twice before losing it to Warren via decision at Bellator 128. From there, Warren gave it up to former Dantas teammate Marcos Galvao in his first defense at Bellator 135, only to lose in his first defense, which came against Dantas in June at Bellator 156.

Entering Friday night’s affair, the Brazilian is hoping that the title hot potato game will come to an end as he exacts revenge on “The Baddest Man on the Planet,” the last man to beat him. At Thursday’s weigh-ins, both main event combatants looked nearly flawless as they made weight. Warren was the first to the scale and checked in at 133.7 pounds. “DuDu,” meanwhile, was equally on point and weighed in at 134.6 pounds.

Bellator 166 will be televised live on Spike beginning at 9 p.m. ET/6 p.m. PT.
