The California State Athletic Commission released salary from the event to MMAFighting.com on Tuesday. Freire took a contentious split-decision victory over Henderson at the SAP Center in San Jose Calif. Henderson, a former UFC 155-pound champion, banked $50,000 in defeat.
In the co-main event, Paul Daley garnered $50,000 for his second-round knockout of Lorenz Larkin ($40,000). Meanwhile, recent UFC signee Roy Nelson pocketed $60,000 for a unanimous decision victory against Javy Ayala ($50,000) in a featured heavyweight tilt.
