Bellator 226 Weigh-in Results: Main Card Official

Bellator MMA returns to the SAP Center in San Jose, California, where the featherweight grand prix kicks off and heavyweight gold is on the line.

In the main event Ryan Bader (228.7) looks to defend his heavyweight title for the first time when he takes on Cheick Kongo (239.2). "Darth" won the belt through the heavyweight grand prix, where he beat Muhammed Lawal, Matt Mitrione and Fedor Emelianenko. The 44-year-old Frenchman, meanwhile, is on an eight-fight winning streak, most recently exacting revenge on Vitaly Minakov in a rematch by decision. The co-main event sees one of four featherweight grand prix bouts, as Daniel Straus (144.4) takes on Derek Campos (144.9).

Bellator 226 which airs on Dazn at 10 p.m. ET/7 p.mm. ET, also features the other three grand prix bouts as well as an alternate. First up, Pat Curran (144.6) scraps with Adam Borics (144.7). Next, Emmanuel Sanchez (144.1) looks to hand Tywan Claxton (144.3) his first loss. The final grand prix fight is Sam Sicilia (145) vs. Pedro Carvalho (144.1). Opening up the main card is the alternate bout that pairs Gaston Bolanos (145.5) against Daniel Carey (144.2).
