Bellator Fighting Championships has signed undefeated featherweight Rasul Mirzaev (pictured) to a multi-fight contract.
Mirzaev is expected to debut in the fall during Bellator's upcoming fifth-season. Neither a debut date nor a first opponent for the Russian have been announced.
Mirzaev has yet to taste defeat in nearly two years as a pro. Known as “Black Tiger,” the 25-year-old has already earned three wins in 2011, finishing all three of his conquered foes in the first round. First, Mirzaev took out Evgeni Khavilov with a 62-second knockout in March before submitting Roman Kishev in May with an armbar at the United Glory World Series Finals.
Most recently, the Russian earned the biggest win of his young career by stopping former Sengoku featherweight king Masanori Kanehara with a first-round technical knockout on July 7 in Moscow.
