Beneil Dariush vs. Drakkar Klose Rescheduled for UFC 248 in Las Vegas

A lightweight clash between Beneil Dariush and Drakkar Klose has been rebooked for UFC 248.

Combate was first to report the matchup. Dariush and Klose were initially slated to meet at UFC Fight Night in Sacramento, Calif., on July 13 before Dariush withdrew from the contest due to injury. UFC 248 takes place at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas on March 7 and will feature a strawweight title clash betwen Weili Zhang and Joanna Jedrzejczyk.

Dariush is currently on a three-bout winning streak in the Octagon. He last appeared at UFC Fight Night 162, where he submitted Frank Camacho in the opening stanza on Oct. 26. Dariush is 11-4-1 in the promotion and 17-4-1 as a professional overall.

Klose has also won three in a row in UFC competition. The MMA Lab representative is coming off a decision triumph over Christos Giagos at UFC 241 on Aug. 17. The 31-year-old has been victorious in five of his six promotional appearances and is 11-1-1 in his pro career.
