Billy Quarantillo will lock horns with Herbert Burns in a featherweight tilt at UFC Fight Night on July 17.
Quarantillo announced the pairing via social media. The event does not have an official location or headliner but is expected to include the return of Miesha Tate, as she faces Marion Reneau in a bantamweight matchup.
Quarantillo had an eight-bout professional winning streak halted at UFC 256, where he dropped a unanimous decision to Gavin Tucker. The Dana White’s Contender Series alum kicked off his promotional tenure with triumphs against Jacob Kilburn, Spike Carlyle and Kyle Nelson.
Burns suffered his first Octagon defeat at UFC 252, falling to Daniel Pineda via second-round TKO on Aug. 15. The younger brother of Gilbert Burns began his UFC career with finishes of Nate Landwehr and Evan Dunham.
