Brazilian mixed martial arts promotion Jungle Fights has signed a 33-month deal to stream its events on Dazn.

The current plan is to hold one event a month, but Jungle Fights founder Wallid Ismail told Sherdog.com the organization is discussing the possibility of increasing to three events per month.

“This will be big for Brazil and we are looking to bring back Brazil MMA and put on three shows a month to help grow MMA,” Ismail said. We have put over 100 fighters in the UFC to date and are continuing to put fighters into the promotion. This deal will be huge for us to gain viewership across the world.”

Fighters such as Jose Aldo, Fabricio Werdum, Rondalo Souza, Lyoto Machida, Paulo Costa, John Lineker, Renato Carneiro, and Elizeu Zaleski dos Santos have all competed in the promotion at one time.

Jungle Fights has held more than 1,000 bouts over the course of its 16-year history. The promotion is expected to make its Dazn debut with an as-yet-to-be announced event in September.
