Bellator Dublin has added a new bantamweight contest, as Brian Moore will face American fighter Toby Misech in front of a partisan crowd on the preliminary card. Bellator MMA confirmed the bout following a report by MMA Fighting.
SBG Ireland representative Moore (12-7) is coming off a unanimous decision victory over Binh Son Le at Bellator Birmingham. At the moment, Moore is 3-3 in his Bellator stint, with victories over Giorgio Belsanti and Michal Horejsi. “The Pikeman,” however, has not shined in his highest-profile fights, losing to former Bellator featherweight title contender Daniel Weichel, rising star A.J. McKee and Ultimate Fighting Championship and Bellator veteran Noad Lahat.
Dana White's Contender Series veteran Misech (10-6) is looking to bounce back after his defeat against Eduardo Dantas at Bellator 215. Previously, “2 Quick” made a successful debut in Scott Coker’s promotion by finishing Edward Thommes via TKO thanks to a spectacular flying knee followed by a series of punches.
Bellator Dublin will go down at the 3Arena on Sept. 27. Other than the Moore-Miesch fight, Bellator has so far announced only a featherweight contest between James Gallagher and Callum Ellenor.
