Cage Warriors Fighting Championship is headed
to the Liverpool Exhibition Centre in Liverpool, England, where
Cage Warriors 107 will go down on Sept. 28.
The main event will see a heavyweight clash between hometown hero Tom Aspinall and Michael Ben Hamouda. Both fighters hit the scale and successfully made the heavyweight limit.
Liverpool’s Adam Ventre was scheduled to face Arman Popal in the co-main event, but the latter was withdrawn from the card for medical reasons early this morning. Ventre will now take on Antanas Jazbutis, who stepped in on a day’s notice to clash with the local fan favorite in a 175 pound catchweight fight.
The scheduled flyweight bout between Liam Gittins and Jake Bond was scrapped from the bill after Gittins came in two pounds over the flyweight limit and Bond’s team refused to accept the fight.
The card will start at 4:00 p.m. ET. and will be broadcast on UFC Fight Pass.
