Cage Warriors 113 Weigh-in Results: All Fighters Make Weight

By Tudor Leonte Mar 19, 2020
Even though almost all the major mixed martial arts promotions in the world had to put their events on hold, Cage Warriors Fighting Championship is going forward with its upcoming CW 113 event.

The main event will see Ultimate Fighting Championship fighters Darren Stewart (11-4) and Bartosz Fabinski (14-3) locking horns in the middleweight division. The UFC decided to lend this match-up to the Cage Warriors so that the participants of this match-up — who were supposed to fight on the scrapped UFC London card, although against different opponents — could fight. Both Stewart and Fabinski made weight, with “The Dentist” stepping on the scale at 182.9 pounds while “The Butcher” weighed 181.5.

In the co-main event, the undefeated Mason Jones (8-0) will attempt to bring home the vacant Cage Warriors lightweight championship as he squares off against Joe McColgan. Both Jones and McColgan (6-2-1) had no issues in hitting the 155-pound weight limit.

The main card suffered a plethora of changes, especially due to the inability of fighters to fly in the United Kingdom due to the several fly bans across Europe. The promotion stated that all athletes were checked for symptoms of COVID-19.

Cage Warriors 113 will go down at the Manchester BEC Arena. The main card airs live on UFC Fight Pass on Friday, March 20 at 4 p.m. ET.
