Casey Kenney will square off against Yadong Song in a bantamweight bout at UFC 265.
Kenney confirmed the booking on social media following an initial report from MMAjunkie.com. UFC 265 takes place on Aug. 7 and features a women’s bantamweight title tilt pitting Amanda Nunes against Julianna Pena. A location for the event has not been announced.
Kenney had a three-bout winning streak snapped at UFC 259, where he suffered a split-decision loss to ex-champ Dominick Cruz on March 6. The former Legacy Fighting Alliance champion kicked off his promotional tenure with victories in five of his first six appearances.
Song, meanwhile, was victorious in his first four UFC bouts but has gone 1-1-1 in the Octagon since then. Most recently, the 23-year-old Team Alpha Male representative dropped a three-round verdict to Kyler Phillips at UFC 259.
