Cezar 'Mutante' Replaces Alessio Di Chirico, Meets Tom Breese at UFC London on March 16

Cezar Ferreira will step in for the injured Alessio Di Chirico and face Tom Breese at UFC Fight Night London on March 16.

Promotion officials recently announced the new middleweight booking. Di Chirico pulled out of the contest to undergo surgery. UFC Fight Night takes place at the O2 Arena in London and airs on ESPN+.

Cezar “Mutante” split a pair of Octagon appearances in 2018. He submitted Karl Roberson at UFC 224 in May before dropping a unanimous verdict against Ian Heinisch at UFC Fight Night 140 on Nov. 17. The Vitor Belfort protege is 9-5 in the Las Vegas-based promotion and 13-7 as a professional overall.

Breese, a native of Birmingham, England, has won four of his five Octagon appearances, including a first-round technical knockout of Daniel Kelly in his most recent outing at UFC Fight Night 130 on May 27. The Tristar Gym representative is 11-1 over the course of a career that began in 2010.
