Charlie Edwards, Angel Moreno on Weight for WBC Flyweight Title Scrum

The WBC flyweight championship between Charlie Edwards and Angel Moreno is officially on as both fighters made weight Friday afternoon. The two will collide in the main event of a DAZN-streamed card from Copper Box Arena in Hackey Wick, London, England, on Saturday.

Moreno (19-2-2, 6 KOs) has won his last 12 bouts and is primed for his first-ever world title challenge. The Spaniard captured a couple of minor regional titles and has looked terrific since losing on points to Artem Dalakian back in 2015. "Golden Boy" looked as fit as ever when he weighed in, coming in at a trim 111.25 pounds.

Edwards (14-1, 6 KOs) is poised for the second defense of his title, which he captured by stopping Anthony Nelson last June. Since then, the Surrey native bested Cristofer Rosales on points and isn't expecting to lose his crown to Moreno. Like the challenger, Edwards was on point; he came in at a ready 111.375 pounds.

The action will be streamed live on DAZN beginning at 3:00 p.m. ET.
