Chris Gruetzemacher, Davi Ramos Set for Bout at UFC Fight Night 123 in Fresno

Chris Gruetzemacher will square off against Davi Ramos in a welterweight duel at UFC Fight Night 123.

Promotion officials recently confirmed the pairing. UFC Fight Night 123 takes place on Dec. 9 at the SaveMart Center in Fresno, Calif., and is headlined by a featherweight tilt between Cub Swanson and Brian Ortega.

Gruetzemacher had a 12-bout winning streak come to an end at the hands of Chas Skelly in his most recent outing at UFC Fight Night 104. Prior to that, the 31-year-old Arizonan debuted in the Octagon with a decision win over Abner Lloveras at “The Ultimate Fighter 22” finale.

Ramos made his first promotional foray on short notice, dropping a three-round verdict against Sergio Moraes at UFC Fight Night 106 in March. The 30-year-old Brazilian is 6-2 as a pro, with his other defeat coming to David Rickels at Bellator 130 in October 2014.
