Cody Garbrandt Launches Scathing Attack At T.J. Dillashaw After USADA Suspension

Cody Garbrandt has taken aim on social media at former Team Alpha Male training partner T.J. Dillashaw after Dillashaw accepted a two-year ban from the United States Anti-Doping Agency yesterday as a result of a positive drug test.

Dillashaw tested positive for recombinant human erythropoietin (EPO) as a result of an in-competition drug test under the New York State Athletic Commission (NYSAC) prior to his loss against Henry Cejudo in January this year.

“No Love” has had a clear disdain for Dillashaw ever since Dillashaw decided to leave the TAM Gym to work with Duane Ludwig claiming that he had “sold out.” The pair were chosen to be rival coaches on “The Ultimate Fighter” Season 25 and had to be separated on more than one occasion during the filming of the show. After the news of Dillashaw broke on the internet, Garbrandt posted his thoughts on Twitter and didn’t hold back:

“Test all his samples I bet for a fact more EPO pops up, [Dillashaw] is a coward. T.J. call me when that suspension is up! Scum bag.”

“All of my losses are from fighters that have popped for PEDs [UFC], [USADA]. I can stand behind this when I say I’ll always be a drug free athlete, #1 reason is the believe I have in myself. #2 I respect the game. Twitter rant over y’all have a good day.”

Garbrandt did acknowledge that he wasn’t using Dillashaw’s suspension as an excuse for dropping back-to-back title fights against him, instead admitting that he fought recklessly.

“Let’s make this clear I’m not saying my losses are a direct result of PED convicted fighters. I also fought like a dumb ass.”

“Can’t wait to see who he blames for sticking the needles in him lol where’s bang at.”

“Oh for sure Duane is crying that was his life’s work invested into him but Duane knew he was on the juice to. What a leader he is!”

Garbrandt hasn’t been shy about doping allegations in the past surrounding Dillashaw and said at a press conference ahead of their first fight that when Dillashaw was at Team Alpha Male he taught other fighters how to use banned substances.

“No Love” was on record a year ago claiming that Dillashaw was using EPO.
