Colby Covington Mocks 'Jonny Picograms' Jones: I Used To Destroy Him In College

Colby Covington launched a tirade towards UFC light heavyweight champion Jon Jones, reminiscing on their days at Iowa Central Community College where, according to Covington, he dominated Jones on the wrestling mats.

The 31-year-old Covington has blasted Jones in the past over his long list of professional and personal missteps, including failed drug tests as well as fleeing the scene of a car accident.

Covington appeared on a recent episode of BJ Penn Radio and said his initial offer where he reached out to Jones to offer his support had been withdrawn.

“I think it was time sensitive,” Covington said. “I’ll destroy Jonny. I was destroying him in college, man, dumping him on his head every day in practice. You can go ask anybody in the Iowa Central wrestling room that was there when we were there. I’d love to get my hands on ‘Jonny Picograms,’ man. If you didn’t have all those picograms in his system, he wouldn’t be the same fighter he is today. He’s a f---ing piece of s---.”

UFC President Dana White has confirmed that former interim welterweight champion Covington will challenge the current champ Kamaru Usman next for the 170-pound title although nothing has been officially announced yet.
