Marroquin won the $100,000 Cope Combate eight-main tournament in 2017, winning fights against Carlos Rivera, Marcelo Rojo and John Castaneda. The Mexican has not fought since November of 2018, when he beat Jose Estrada by decision.
Gonzalez, meanwhile, is riding a two-fight winning streak, including a win over Alejandro Martinez in his Combate Americas debut. Before that, the 22-year-old fought in promotions such as Legacy Fighting Alliance, Lux Fight League and Victory Fighting Championship.
Sherdog has also confirmed that Jose Flores will lock horns with Ismael Bonfim in a lightweight preliminary bout, and Ricky Palacios will battle Jose Ceja in a featherweight tussle.
