Combate Americas bolstered the talent of its featherweight roster, signing “The Ultimate Fighter: Latin America” Season 1 finalist Leonardo Morales to an exclusive, multi-fight deal.

A date and opponent for Morales’ Combate Americas debut will be announced in the coming weeks. The Managua, Nicaragua, native is currently on a three-fight winning streak.

Leonardo Morales is a superb addition to our featherweight division, and is another example of the deep pool of talent that exists in the Latin world,” said Combate Americas CEO Campbell McLaren.

Morales earned victories over Masio Fullen and Gabriel Benitez on “TUF: Latin America 1” to advance to the finals of the reality show, where he lost a decision to Yair Rodriguez at UFC 180 in November 2014. He made one more Octagon appearance after that, falling to Jose Alberto Quinonezvia first-round submission at UFC Fight Night 68 in December 2015.
